Alright.... well. I am feeling very upset, and decided to record this.
I wrote it a long time ago. 7 years ago in fact and is part of an album I worked on called "Requite Me".
I had to stop in between takes because I was crying too much to sing... mostly because the song has a lot of emotional impact on me and is relevant to my current situation too. I only hope I managed to put the emotional across so that you can feel how I feel singing this.
The guitar solo in the middle section is missing, but I will add it in at some point later.

There isn't much else to add, if you remember the original has a small guitar solo in the middle where the lyrics stop for a bar. Then continues in the background as I sing again. I think I'll add it in later, but it seems ok without it. It's more for texture than anything else. ^^;; Thanks so much x
When I finished it I debated whether to let you know I had re-done this, because I recalled you liked it. I sort of wanted to make sure it could hold the same qualities as the original whilst updating it, with you in mind. Thanks so much for listening and for your kind wishes. <3
voice is beautiful, arangment is nice. I would hope you could do it again, using some strings and a small amount of winds.

The song was always meant to be be quite simple with just the piano and warm atmospheric synths, with the slight contrast in the second part using the celesta. I don't think I would ever add anything more to it, I don't want to over-complicate it. I am happy with how it stands so there is no reason for me to redo it again... but I agree strings are usually great for most songs I write, I do like string instruments a lot. Some of my other songs which I haven't posted use ocarinas and recorders, sometimes oboes. Those are more character theme pieces however and don't have vocals.

Hey you... I was going to note you today and ask how things are with you and Ewa etc.
I am having a bad patch right now. Which is really bad because I was doing so much better holding it together and was actually feeling less like an alien and more like something human again. But as always people affect me so much that my mood plummets. I'll survive, somehow I always do, it just hurts ever so much.

That really sucks. We just had a minor misunderstanding that got blown way out of proportion, but it got fixed that same night. Wish we could visit you or have you over. Oh, and I should have an email for you soon. :D That might help out a bit (I really hope it does) *hugs*
It seems a lot of people are saying they can relate and are going through the same things as I am talking about here... it's sad to know that :< But perhaps the music can help somehow. I don't know if it makes sense but even when I am sad and listen to emotional music it sort of comforts me a bit. I hope you feel better as soon as possible. x Thank you.
*nods* You're very welcome. I love listening to your songs, and this is one I'd somehow missed before, but I loved it as soon as I heard it. The contents also somewhat click with me, considering I'm the hopeless romantic who things rarely work out for xP (though they've finally started working out again, for once, and I'm doing what I can to keep it that way :3)

I heard the collab of Immortality between you and Foxamoore and had to check out your stuff. You have a beautiful and captivating voice and I wanted to see what it was like with your own work. Saw that you had a lot of covers but what I really wanted was an original, and I found this. I'm glad I did, it's absolutely beautiful and it really pulls at one's emotion with the intensity of the heartfelt lyrics and the deep emotion in your voice. Reminds me a lot of what I was going through but after many years I'm finally moving past it, but this song is still very meaningful. You can tell it is for you as well which really adds to its beauty, well done.
I really only write some lyrics sometimes and can only do a little with instruments by ear, but if I ever do figure it out and decide to write some music like I planned to I may have to come back here someday and see if you are interested in doing some of the vocals. If that day ever comes, it would be an honor.
