Here's more or less what I've been tinkering at... off and on when I've been able to. I hope to work some more on stuff like this (lineless).
This is a creature
created that I'm hoping to adopt as I really love the design and colors of the creature.
Decided to sit and really work with some of the paint stuff in Sai and see where I could get with it. Pondering posting a transparent version later.
Done in ~Sai~
Here's the info copied from BaronSamedi:
Figments are living embodiments of a particular emotion. They come in a wide variety of colors and marking designs, but have a tendency to have personalities relating to their core. Paranoia figments, for example, are cruel and manipulative and attempt to entice - you guessed it - paranoia out of those around them. They are highly flexible and agile, as well as being quite intelligent. They have no thumbs but most are capable of learning to manipulate relatively small objects with either their foreclaws or their tongue.
Figments do not need to eat, but can if they choose to. They do not have a set gender and many operate as genderless, though it is believed they can adopt a gender if they so desire. Paranoia figments have relatively stiff tails to assist in balance. Their eyes are capable of operating in extreme low light, like cats, though they cannot see in total darkness. Their sense of smell is not much better than an average human's, but their hearing is much sharper. They have a rather dull sense of pain and tend to ignore all but the most grievous wounds.
Paranoia figments have a light coat of fur covering most of their bodies. Underneath is pliable, somewhat iridescent skin that shines through in direct light. Their fur is actually opalescent and clear; the markings are on the skin itself, but the hair structure does not carry the pigment upward.
These figments typically range from three to four feet in height at the top of the head when seated; their full height on stretched hind legs can reach upwards of seven to eight feet, but they tend to choose quadrupedal locomotion most times.
