How did you get the noise on the left side of the picture without actually corrupting your picture a little to get it?

The glitch is on a separate layer - it's actually the exact same image of Pandy glitched to unrecognizability, but I only used a small part of it and pasted that part (with some post-glitch colour-dickery in Photoshop) on top of the un-glitched image
