Here is one of the pictures I drew for the event that was mentioned in my last two submissions. It is not complete yet, as can be seen; I even left the sketch in because it gives me good ideas for the creepy-style shading I will be aiming for. I won't be finishing it until I do a few other things, such as finishing a birthday prezzie for a certain bunny, but yus! I'd love any feedback on this so far. c:
This is my unicorn companion in the game, SMT: Imagine, nomming on my character in said game. :P
Also, I'll be deleting this once I finish it, to replace with the fancy complete one. :D And here is a story I had to write for the event as well, which I decided to tie in with this:
Tsu opened his eyes.
Where am I? He gazed up at something grey that had to be assumed was the sky. What happened?
He sat up groggily and swivled his head to survey the area. It appeared to be a forest, but one he didn't recognize. It was dark and the air was thick with...something. It felt malicious, yet calm and serene; an interesting combination.
You, there.
Tsu flinched as the voice rang through his head, jumping up with a start. When he turned in attempts to find the source, he found himself face-to-face with a giant muzzle, which appeared to belong to some sort of equine. When he looked up for an answer to what it belonged to, he found himself easily dwarfed by a unicorn that was at least a couple of stories tall.
What little creature do I have the pleasure of meeting in this forest of Nakano?
"T-Tsu..." he stuttered out, frozen as the giant holy beast sniffed at him with heated blasts. "And...you?"
As you should be able to tell, I am a unicorn. The equine leaned his head down to put his eyes at level with the human. Some call me a demon, some call me a god... But by name, you can use Theron.
Tsu nodded timidly. Did he have a weapon to use if he needed it? He glanced to his side nervously, where laid a staff with a blue jewel embedded into the crescent. But surely, grabbing for it would likely be seen as a provocation.
Theron seemed to have noticed this, or had perhaps just read his mind. I wouldn't if I were you, human. You're an easy morsel, and I could simply...eat you. The unicorn raised its head, its lips parting as a giant tongue slid out to assault the poor human. It was both powerful and forceful, not to mention grotesquely slimy. Mmm... But you wouldn't want that, now would you?"
Tsu was nearly paralyzed by Theron's teasing; he knew that the beast was serious. "N-no... What do you want of me?"
Theron grinned down at him, idly nibbling at his hair to further unnerve him. Good man... There are things that I want to accomplish. You seem to be reliable, and you have not yet wet your trousers, so I feel that I can trust you. I'm sure you have your own goals in mind, as well... So, I have a proposal: be my ally, and we can achieve these things together.
Tsu shifted uneasily; the unicorn may have reason to trust him, but was the opposite true? He felt as though he didn't have much of an option regardless. If he said no, the holy beast could easily swallow him down in one gulp. Not to mention that if teeth were used, it could be particularly painful. So... The decision was easy, really.
"I accept."
The unicorn seemed to grin. I was hoping you'd say that... It'd be a shame to have to devour such a promising candidate. The unicorn took a step back, bending down so that his horn pointed directly at a mechanical bangle on the wrist of the human. I hereby commit myself to you, Tsu, to be my partner in this contract.
With that, the giant equine disintegrated into an array of green, hollow cubes, which swirled into the device at Tsu's arm. The man, still stunned from the encounter, fell to his knees in relief. He breathed out and clenched onto his staff as if it would help him regain his composure. That was close... But what was that in the first place?
Whatever it was, there was one thing he knew for sure: he was covered in unicorn drool and he was starting to smell.
I...should probably do something about that.
