Okay, so those aren't gryphons or ponies up there but only because I stink at drawing them. Basically I dreamt that Gilda had to take a 'Gryphon Test' from this super old gryphon and she just BARELY passed due to a 'Want-It-Need-It Spell' (Gilda suddenly loves ponies whenever she sees one) cast by somepony (probably Twilight) and, well, gryphons are kind of supposed to be boastful and ego-driven, right? So it'd make sense for there to be a test for that sort of thing.

Anyway, she just barely passes, the old gryphon saying "and all the other gryphons shalt be TOTALLY jealous that you just skated by, pissing them all off, like any good gryphon should!" and she receives an ice wand and pretty much this exchange happens.

I think every fantasy movie should have a scene like this.

Voldemort: Dude, Elder Wand! I am, like, twice more perfect than ever before!

You know, if gryphons are supposed to be egotistical then her being friends with Rainbow Dash makes so much more sense. Just saying.

Oh, and if anypony wants to make a comic out of this idea just note me what you come up with, I'd love to see it! :D

Oh, right, and the Want-It-Need-It spell was broken by Gilda being so incredibly stoked at passing the test. Like Kamina she goes Beyond the Impossible.
