This is a face guide I did for my Siberian tiger character Yaromir Rurikovich Noyev (ref here). I took a cat face from Google Images and put some stripes over it. This is approximately how Yarik's stripes are laid out. Notice the distinctive grey stripe running from the upper right side of his face to the middle left side.

Also, keep in mind that, although it doesn't show up here, he has medium-long hair.
