Raccoon Pilates...
...actually, I just plain ran out of paper, hence the unusual pose! Anyhoo, it's my little Raccoon either trying to get up or trying to sit down or...maybe he is doing pilates. ^^;

Yeah, but it probably has something to do with the fact raccoons are known for it, and that foxes have pretty colors, and the invention of the teddy bear.
I don’t think it’s right (i’m against discrimination, unless the discrimination is discrimination of people who discriminate), but it’s just how it is.
At least their Japanese cousins (Tanuki) and their (probably) Chinese cousins (red panda), are popular.
Or does that make it less fair?
It might also have something to do with the lack of folklore and famous myths with raccoons as the main character
