UPDATE: Various anatomical changes like digitigrade feet, arm mouths, fatter tails on males, more canine ears...
The leftover Martail drawings I did from a stream a few nights ago. The two in the middle are just Ozzy, the others around him are random designs. Still playing with colors :E It's pretty fun!
I'm still trying to draw their faces more Hyena/Bear-like to try and pull them away from 100% possum. Hopefully people can tell the difference between how I'd draw a possum's long ratty snout and a short meaty hyenabear face. Moved their nostrils from the sides of their nose to the front, still working on drawing that right. Also tried to fluff up their ears and make them less rat-like. Practice, yo

All their advice and the little sheet they did turned out really helpful for me. You've actually got most of it down pat hurrhurr.
But yeah, adding fur to the ears definitely helped I think. Also making the bases wider, not so tapered in near the head? Yeah I really haven't improved in drawing hyenas myself tbh so I can't really give any other crit :B
BUT MAN THESE DESIGNS I LOVE EM. I want to make one too. >:I

actually you know what, I just tried again and they were wrong on quite a bit. Especially the 'everything is a smooth line' bit. I bet you were doing this before bluhhhh, but just get up photos of their faces from the font and side and stuff and sketch around until you find a pattern. D:
