A squad of Marines with the forge world Salamanders shoulder pads. the 4 at the front have been fitted with magnets so I can change the weapons they use. My first try at magnets to hold parts of a model together. they look a little off but not bad for my first try lol

Umm ok.
The 4 guys at the front can now remove their arms for different guns to use. Normaly I just glue them and thats it they are stuck but I added tiny magnets so I can switch them.

A table top game called warhammer. These guys were laying around in a box so I built them to try out the magnets

Yeah I have seen alot of people on vids on yourtube and people and the work shop use them so I thought I give it a try. Looks like its helpful if I want to make the ten man squad into two five man squads

I've actually been doing something similar with a unit of Deathwatch marines. the results are very positive.

the Captain has several weapon options, that I'm most happy with.

Bolt Pistol and Chainsword
Combi-melta (no paired weaopn)
Storm Bolter and Powerfist
Plasma Pistol and Powersword.

for an Ultramarine with Deathwatch livery, he's not bad.
