In Kemet's most ancient city of Hardai, House De Anubis is one of the dozen or so remaining highborne Anubian Jackal clans that have stood the test of time. and whom still is able to trace their untainted blood lineage back to before the Old Kingdom epoch when the twin kingdoms of Kemet was united under one Pharaoh over six thousand years ago.

Each clan of highborne jackals records their blood lineage upon huge marble slabs that traces millenia upon millenia of breeding, arranged marriages and births to ensure that the bloodlines of the dark father is kept pure and untainted. But over the ages many jackal houses have fallen to the march of time, their status and power steadilly eroded or outright gone as they lost their bloodline stones, stolen or broken by rival clans, or simply accidentally missing.

House De Anubis is the oldest and most prestigous of the remaining dozen or so of highborne houses inhabiting Hardai to this day, the proof of their ancient bloodline safely enshrined within the Hall of Ages at the center of the gigantic Vault of Ages at the heart of the sprawling De Anubis clan compound. And which is guarded by a demi legion of 'Immortals', elites of the Anubian warrior caste.


The current ruling family of House De Anubis:

Lady Neferata De Anubis (33 years)
Nefer herself, now the Royarch of the house. Having ascended with the passing of her father. The seventh-born and last child of Osahar and Samah


Anri (16 years)
The bond-servant of Nefer. He once belonged to a lesser branch of Anubian highborne, whose's country estate was plundered and burned down by Hyksos raiders. Only he survived, found by Nefer and her retinue when they were investigating the lack of contact with the clan. He impressed her by having hidden and observed the hyksos looters and collected clues to allow Nefer and her band to track down the raiders and destroy them. Anri was thusly rewarded by being adopted by House De Anubis for his diligence and earned the right to carry the mark of the house. Though not being a bloodmember of the clan, he was not allowed to wear the mark on his face.


Makare (41 years)
The 'brother' of Nefer and the first-born of Osahar and Samah, but whom ended up becomming the Nomarch of Hardai instead of only getting to rule his ancestral house. A trade which he have become quite happy with as he realized the perks of his new station. Being the chosen Nomarch, he is the voice of the Pharaoh in Hardai and wields power over ALL of the highborne houses in the nome.


Osahar (67 years - deceased)
The once patriarch of the house, and father of all the jackal siblings. He was quite the control-freak in life.


Samah (56 years)
The motherly matron of the house, having borne seven children for Osahar. When Kierlan was introduced to her, sweet music quickly erupted between the pair.


Kierlan (27 years)
Once a wolfen male from the grecian citystates that had his life royally changed when he had a chance encounter witha a certain jackal. Now transformed into a shemale jackal-wolf, he have been adopted by House De Anubis and became the consort of Matron Samah after the pair found themselves to be quite compatible.


Jamilla (39 years)
Second-born and the first true daughter. Proud, haughty and domineering, she is a queen in the making and was quite an inspiration for Makare in their younger years. When Samah eventually passes on to Duat, Jamilla will become the new Matron of the House.


First set of twins
Muminah (37 years)
Third-born and the twin of Shani. Muminah grew up to become an devoted priestess in the cult of Anubis, and would be the one to tutor Nefer later in her life.


Shani (37 years)
Fourth-born and the twin of Muminah. Not having aptitude for the divine, the book loving Shani took to studying the knowledge of older days, becomming an acomplished Loremaster.


Second set of twins
Zahra (35 years)
Fifth-born and the twin of Masika. Never one for the temple crypts of the anubian cult or dusty libraries, Zahra found her call in the healers trade with a focus on the restorative properties of herbalism.


Masika (35 years)
Sixth-born and the twin of Zahra. She have no obvious proffession, but she is dearly adoring her older sisters, constantly fussing over them and making sure none of them is forgetting anything and that their schedules is kept, a real worrywart and eager to please.


Kierlan belongs to  SEITHON

All other jackals belongs to  NEFER
