Button Stitch seems quite distressed, if the amount of "underlid" shown is any sign. As I look at it, I'm half expecting to see some eye-twitching occuring.
Likewise, the tightly-braided mane and tail suggest an attempt to maintain some form of self-control, but the numerous stray hairs suggest instead that this is an exercise in futility, in more ways than one.
And of course there is the shadow of a CloudCuckooLander: her shadow.
Or am I just overthinking all of this before reading the story?
I promise, I will get to tomorrow, it is a bit late right now...
