Oto the Otter
A SparkyAMP'd Spinoff Story!
In a world full of lush green plants, with the birds singing in the treetops surrounding a large pond, lived a certain playful critter. The water was crystal clear, with the bright rays of the sun brilliantly shining off of the waters surface. The area appeared to be a world by itself, when it was close to a metropolitan city that had a life of its own.
"Ah... Mooncrest county, how I love your broad diversity. One that creates such issues causing everyone to be at each others throats. Its a wonder how a small little piece of land survived war amungst you all. A small little piece of land- owned, by me. Heehee~!
On the canopy of the trees stood a creature- in what, or who- appeared to be an otter. The otter was getting a hillside view at the northern end of the city. The northern-most region had houses and manors that were spaced far enough between eachother. The houses themselves were rather large, which made sense as the upper-class citizens of the city lived in the northern parts. Looking a bit more south- and into the center of the city stood a very tall building, with a signatures 'S.T.' logo. Every business was within a block from eachother, and the roads were crowded with those who were heading to or from work.
"Even though this city is always lively... it needs a rest." The otter sighed to himself, before looking at the sky. The sky was bright blue, with the sun not quite being in the middle of the sky. It was morning, though not by much. "I should freshen up. Bloody work..." With that comment, the otter jumped out of the canopy and down onto the ground- finishing the light walk up hill and around the pond. At the north most section of the pond was an average sized log cabin, though with nice little homey upgrades, and a small dock expansion that stuck out over the water by ten feet.
The otter walked past the porch and into his home. There wasn't anything too special about it although it was a quite simple house. There were outlets, but all of them were unused. His kitchen was full sized, with a flat-top stove and a full sized fridge- and a black granite counter he could easily dish out food over. He had a small flat screen TV mainly for checking news. However, he didn't have any gaming consoles, computers, or even a sound system. Any area he could, he had a candle lit inside a stylish glass holder, to keep the flame where it should be rather than burning his house down. His main room was not much bigger than the kitchen, though it did have his bathroom connected to it. His bed didn't take up much room, nor did any of his furniture. There was one wide window in the room that was currently covered in a red curtain.
The otter walked in the bathroom and ran the water from the sink faucet. Cupping his paws, he gathered some water to splash it on his face- looking up at the mirror. Staring back at him was a light brown otter with brilliant blue eyes. His fur looked quite soft and well tended to. "Focus... Focus..." "Oto, are you talking to yourself again?"
"Oi!" The otter turned around. "Mathew, what are you doing here?"
"I'm being a good brother and checking up on you~ So how is my little bro doing?"
"You do realize there's a bloody DOOR there, right? Thats what knocking is for." Oto said, sounding annoyed and aggravated.
"Chillax, lil' bro. It's not like I am here to pester you."
"I beg to differ." The brown otter muttered.
It was a bit hard to tell that they were even related- as Delvin had a surfer accent, while Oto had a slightly british type. Delvin also sported gray fur, while Oto had brown. The gray otter stood a few inches higher than his younger brother- and actually had a slightly toned body.
"So what are you up to?"
"I, am getting ready for work. Don't you have some other nonsense to get to?" Oto asked, while returning to tending himself- making himself smell nicer with some cologne.
"Nah, I got nothin' better to do except to hang around." Delvin answered, plopping down on Oto's couch. "Well fine- as long as you make yourself sparce for the evening I don't care what you do! Just don't bother me."
Oto walked out of his bathroom and into his room, shutting the door- and locking it- so he couldn't be bothered while he was getting dressed. From the closet, he pulled out a white suit and a matching pair of white dress pants. The suit had a fancy F on the right side of the suit. The style was a red cursive letter. "I feel so silly with these on..." he thought after slipping the entire outfit on. It may have felt silly, though he looked rather dashing. He turned to walk out of his room, but before his paw reached the doorhandle the sound of glass breaking broke the silence.
"...Bugger..." Oto said in frustrated annoyance.

believe it or not, this is my first literature piece in forever! (At least, one posted). I feel like I am quite rusty on the writing side... but I gotta start somewhere, right? ok, more like- RESTART somewhere. So, this is actually a small connecting story to an RP I have going on right now...
Yes, this is the same day Draggy takes Kyrina out. Hence: Connecting. Anyways.. I hope you enjoy :c
