Got lucky to watch this piece during birth on livestream today. As I said: Just amazing.

i still need to commision you one of these days. out of all the artests ive seen that i can think of off the top of my head, everytime i see your art i have to apreciate how realistic the dragon characters look. Not realistic in the sense of Absurd obsessively tiny detail, but just the way that theyre all perfectly realistically proportioned, and just seem so 'believable' in the way they look and move.

I know what you mean, and I agree. They are just reasonable - you can rather 'feel' their character, than only see their shape.

That said I think there is always more that we can do in our art, especially with a piece with as much detail as this... it's nice you were at least able to find a stopping point and still get a result this good!

Love the lighting effects all around in this, from the glow of the monitors to the overheads back by the couch. I don't think the person on the right is paying much attention to the ramblings of the person on the left, who seems both proud and blissfully unaware.

I think it looks awesome.

One thing I about this picture is the thought on shading with the lights. when you add things into a picture like small light sources and reflective surfaces, it really adds to how much you have to pay attention and try to figure out how they'll effect the picture in shading.

Pretty awesome you could do all the details and still remember to think about the detail in shading. Nice job Noben.

an yus, I usually find myself saying the same thing any time I've worked on a piece that's taken me forever to complete XP
I have a tendency to rush things once a piece hits that 15 + hrs mark ^^; (which is why I now do those kinds of pics in intervals between other works & gaming). the only downside to that though is that I end up finding more things that I wanna to fix >w> lol

This is an awesome level of detail. The lighting and shadows nice great and the depth of the background really makes you want to be able to look around the room and see the rest of it.
