Commission for
zeran of his character and
kitsunedark I hand painted every one of those scales. :( My hand hurt so bad, too. So, here is a rather melancholy dragon. Storm clouds are scattered around him, when suddenly his husky angel appears to save him from himself and the skies begin to clear. I added the storm clouds in the back to symbolize his passing depression and the new clouds have a silver lining. With new found hope, the dragon weakly reaches out to the angel to be rescued.

As requested, here is the poem that goes with this art:
"I lay here on this rock beaten and batterd by the harsh cruelities of this world.
I wait for my death and pray that these many wounds bring me to my death.
I lay here feeling the pain of loneliness stabbing my heart wishing desperatly that each beat will be its last.
I lay here letting these tears stain the ground along with the blood that seeps from my wounds hoping that at least in my death I bring joy to someone.
I lay here looking up at the sun wondering if it was all worth it…of course it wasn’t for who cares what joys, happiness, and comfort one dragon has brought to others.
I lay here waiting for the angel…no my angel of death for I long to be rid of this world.
I lay here my eyes wide with shock for there in front of me I see him my angel his magnificent wings of golden light shining raidently in the golden sun.
His arms outstretched ready to take unto his breast and bear me away to the border of light and dark where my judgement be passed upon my wretched soul.
I weakly raise my arm up the many cuts, scraps, and bruises evident upon it as my hand reachs out for his.
With strength born of the heavens themselves he easily pulls me into his body holding me tight sharing the angelic warmth of his compassion.
His eyes the purest, most brilliant shade of green gazed tenderly, lovingly, and concerndly into my own.
I speak my wretched voice twisted with the bitter bile in my throat. “Take me away angel to heaven or to hell it matter’s not.”
A paw of soft gray fur pressed upon my lips to still them before his deep angelic voice rings out. “Neither heaven nor Hell will have sway over you for I am not here to take anything from you but to give to you my love.”
My eyes water up his words washing over me as a cold wave bringing with it the truth of it all. My savior hath arrived to give to me what I had given to so many others before.
I press my face into his shoulder the tears flowing freely the weight that had been crushing me gone.
With a hand gently laid upon my head as I cried his voice again rang out with the joyous symphany of love... “Never again”…was all he said.
(This I dedicate to my angelic husky who saved me from myself, Kitsunedark.)"

this original concept started out just as a plaything in my head and then i comissioned inali and it turned out really amazing...
which on that note comes the bad news we have since broken up when i had this done. i however never believe stopping something once it started so that is why i let it go thru.
