I believe I can identify the costumes, but are the wearers anyone in particular?
(Legolas from Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter from the eponymous series, Max from Where the Wild Things Are, and a Na'vi from Avatar)

Correct! The wearers are just "super-deformed" versions of the characters. This was a piece of art I did for San Diego Comic Con in '10 for the backstage masquerade pass badge.

You're not seeing things. The guy who commissioned the vixen asked that it be kept private after the fact, so I took it down. Sorry for the confusion.
