Suddenly Kalila felt the hurt and anger slide away as she looked up at Airick. “You may call me Kali, for as long as I can call you friend.” Airick grinned and in a millisecond he had swept her into a hug that picked her all the way up off the ground. Kalila couldn’t help but to squeal in surprise. That was the second time today someone who really didn’t know her had hugged her.
