2009 is back in the day? What about the fursuits say from two decades before that, say in 1989?

Ive seen video of furcons from 1997 and everyone had a big-headed mascot costumes. They looked mass-produced and nothing like what we have today. I could only imagine what things looked like 10 years before that.

The Orange and Purple suits were by  Maliceinfurryland. The black and white one on top was made by  defiantfox and the dalmatian was made by  gel.

wow...yeah i met you guys only a few months after that. it seems so very long ago...there hasn't been a day that has gone by that i havent thought of all of the fun and the furs i had met. you guys saved me during my last year in the military. without you guys i would have easily lost my mind but you guys became my family away from home. i miss you all deeply and look forward to spending another meet/con with you all some time in the future.
