For those of you who don't know Blizzard will be adding a new feature to their next WoW expansion, Mists of Pandaria.
The vanity pets, which for most people have been like a walking stamp collection (except for the ones that fly or don't have legs anyways) will finally have a use... in the form of Pet Battles.
Some would say they're ripping off Pokemon and to be fair that would be true...
... if it wasn't for Digimon, Monster Rancher, Dragon Quest Monsters, Shin Megami Tensei, and every other single COLLECTION RPG that has existed in the past several years.
Personally I'm thrilled. The damn things FINALLY have a use! :D
And yes, the pokemon joke has already been made all over the internet, but a tauren pokemon trainer was too good to pass up. |3
