For someone whos lost loved ones I can relate to the feeling you put in this. You always manage to get the emotion of the image to the viewer, no mater what the emotion is.

Um, i don't find it "touching", "moving" or "powerful" to be honest. Just cuz its 9/11 related doesn't mean its the be all and end all of furry art. Also the heavy patriotic undertone of this artwork makes me uncomftable. Why?.. well as they say patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel it makes me sick. Patriotism makes no sense to me the idea of being proud of something which is an accident of birth, something you have no control over is fucking stupid. Take pride in personnel achievments instead.

Also whats with the fawning over this pic?. America's attacked by terrorists and were suppose to feel sorry for them and their ignorant, arrogant, insular ways.

I mean what about all the genocides and mass atroscities America has committed and been responsible for esp over the last 30 years (Vietnam/Laos/Cambodia, Chile, Nicoragua, Contra, Afghanistan, Iraq (1991 but esp 2003), Continued support and funding of Isreal etc). All those innocent people, all those innocent men, women & children killed because of American greed and imperealism. Where's their memorial artwork?

3000 people died on 9/11 but America before and since that date has been behind the deaths of countless, countless people across the globe (far more than the number who died on 9/11). America is the worlds biggest and most dangerous terrorist. And in many ways 9/11 was inevitable at the end of the day America you reap what you sow.

I loved that piece, too. It was excellent. At least I had some good times with it. It was on my wall for quite a bit.

Naw, I wanted him to have it. He was really hurting for his friend and it's currently hanging in his family room, I'm happy with that.

Though I'm gonna let him know if he ever decides to take it down there's always room on my wall!
