This scene is an homage to Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" series. It's the Sherriff's son, Carl, surrounded by the walking dead… with who-knows-how-many bullets left.

Gotta say I really loved the book art this yea. You did a great job. I really wanted to pick up a poster of it but sadly I have absolutely nowhere to put it (Or any poster for that matter) in my room so it would have just sat somewhere collecting dust sadly. I hope you sell a bunch of these. They are awesome. Also congrats on being guest of honor. Hope you had a blast at the con! I know I did!
Oh! I've only seen the first 6 eps of The Walking Dead. I don't watch tv much anymore, but when Season 1 came out on Netflix I had no excuses not to watch! That explains why it's such a short sherif X3c

He doesn't exactly express the kind of fear someone would expect to see when someone is essentially about to die, Especially a younger character. It reminds me more of "Oh, not again" than having someone's life on the line. I like the contrast in the zombies that are somewhat representing a sepia feel
