This is my first tattoo. I've been wanting it for nearly 4 years. It is of my ball python, Danni, whom I had for 15 years. She recently passed away in August. So I finally said "here we go" and got the design. The fabulous Paul Komoda drew this image off a photograph of her I took back in 2006/2007. My friend at Studio City Tattoo inked it on me.
Yes, it hurt. Totally worth it to have Danni with me always.

Yeah, I had the picture and wanted to make it into more of a design. I wasn't getting what I wanted from myself so I kept putting it off. Glad I did! I hung out with Miss Monster and she had a piece that was designed by Paul and after hanging with him and seeing his other work, I knew who would do the design! :)
