This year's specialty badge for Midwest Furfests's Route 66 theme: Badges laser-burned onto a thin aluminum tag, with your character thumbing a ride (or doing some other simple road activity you can think of) in front of a Route 66 highway sign with your character's name on it.

Badges are about 2" wide by 3.8" tall, about a sixteenth of an inch thick, and include a badge clip. Cost is $40, and if you pre-order one now, you can pick it up Friday afternoon when the dealer's room opens at the con.

By the way, this sample badge features the hunky red panda  tozier ... of course your character doesn't have to be hunky, or shirtless, on your badge. ;)
