I have seen in the past few months in hospital the garbage on the ground, the amount was atrocious so I took the liberty to pick up after others. And I keep telling them to throw their garbage but some do not make it and if people still treat the world as their personal garbage can, then let me tell you the ultimatum: be prepared the world will also become your public dump. And those of you with kind conscientious hearts of the world, I just have one request: if you see macro garbage (not something small like a cigarette butt) although if you do bless your heart, you may not think picking up the garbage will make any difference but read this article: http://www.jnweb.com/life/starfish.html:
~A friend of ours was walking down a deserted Mexican beach at sunset. As he walked along, he began to see another man in the distance. As he grew closer, he noticed that the local native kept leaning down, picking something up, and throwing it out into the water. Time and again he kept hurling things out into the ocean. As our friend approached even closer, he noticed that the man was picking up starfish that had been washed up on the beach and, one at a time, he was throwing them back into the water. Our friend was puzzled. He approached the man and said "Good evening, Friend. I was wondering what you are doing."
"I'm throwing these starfish back into the ocean. You see, it's low tide right now and all of these starfish have been washed up onto the shore. If I don't throw them back into the sea, they'll die up here from lack of oxygen."
"I understand," our friend replied, "but there must be thousands of starfish on this beach. You can't possibly get to all of them. There are simply too many. And don't you realize it is probably happening on hundreds of other beaches all up and down the coast. Can't you see that you can't possibly make a difference?"
The local native smiled, bent down, and picked up yet another starfish, and as he threw it back into the sea, he replied, "Made a difference to that one!"~
,as you can see one man’s perspective dawns on everyone how much power we have as individuals to change this world for the better, together our powers multiply exponentially. The world belongs to all of us: the rocks, the trees, the wild and domestic animals and the least importantly humans. I say least important because humans can adapt to any situation but the other plants, animals and even the inanimate objects can’t because we have a huge monopoly over them.
I wish the world would start helping out, but for now I lead by example. Actually something did happen today, as I was throwing out the garbage like I always do when someone saw me and followed my cue.(holy crap that rhymed) That made me very happy. For I believe that if everybody picked up their garbage and less people miss the garbage can. But there are two sides to the spectrum. Seriously, some people literally need a map and compass and a brain before they get it in there; I’m not shitting you their garbage is left right beside the can. Its Halloween soon as I anticipate there will be lots of candy wrappers… I will be a role model for all human to follow. I am a pioneer and my mission is to bring about world peace. This is my dream; therefore I can’t do anything but succeed. Otherwise humanity is lost.
Remember next time to throw out your own trash. Do everyone a favour, dispose of any trash you own or carry it to a nearby trash can. By now I imagine you get the concept now. Lend a hand so that others don’t have to do it for you… it is very disrespectful to others and the environment if you litter.
If you see spill on the floor or on a counter wipe it off don’t wait for someone else to do it, if everyone thinks the same thought there is no way the spill will be contained; save everyone from the potential hazard or spreading of this spill.
Reuse, an example, cups whether they be plastic, Styrofoam or better yet use mugs or glass cups. Use common sense.
Personal hygiene is another big issue. Brush teeth at least twice, lest you want cavities, shower at least once a day, lest you want dandruff and wash your hands after you finish touching something dirty to protect other people from being contaminated with whatever you just touched.
And last but not least recycle. This is really straight forward: recycle what is newspaper card board. Tetra packs, glass, plastic products also. No-no’s are paint anything with lead in it, or toxic chemicals, these items you need to handle with care. Although I am not an expert on this I know there is a way where theres a will…
