Quick question that likely will be answered in the comic proper; I'm noticing the road connects to one of the exposed roots and it looks like a road of sorts wraps around the tree. Are parts of the tree hollowed out and used as living spaces and the like? And is the tree's canopy used for much the same purpose? Because...that would be really cool.

A friend directed me to this webcomic and I don't watch very many web comics. (only other one is "housepets" by Rick Griffen.) and this comic is just awesome! I really like the humor, and the story is epic and emotional and I really like it so far!
I directed a friend to it and from page 1 he read ALL THE PAGES in ONE SITTING!
