A number of miscellaneous sketches, some fresh some not, for the most part I liked these so here they are. I also put together a porn sketch dump but am insanely nervous about submitting that since that has not gone over well with some folks, I even got some un-watches over my announcement. Isn't that cool of people?
Anyhow, a lot of these I would've submitted individually but people don't seem to like it when I submit single sketches so I'll just make them all real small and submit a bunch and then maybe someone will give a shit? I know a bunch of artists who do and get tons of feedback but I guess I'm not quite there yet. IF you would like me to submit single sketches in larger format then TELL ME, otherwise I'll stick to compilations like this. Whatever works for people.
Some notes from upper left to right:
-A concept sketch of one of the new FS characters in his boxer briefs, a la Jeff Winger from "Community", he was also the guy in front for this image: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6592431 I plan to color this completely and make it the cover for the first full issue of False Start as it has the right vibe for the series I think.
-An older sketch of Sei just chilling out on a sofa. Drawn at Anthrocon '11. The angle and perspective were, again, difficult here but this is how we learn. Also this is more how Sei dresses in her downtime as opposed to this multi-layered thing: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6751284
-A very rough sketch of a very rough idea. It didn't pan out much but it was mildly interesting.
-My 'Sona taking a very Hellsing-esque wound to the head, hopefully he will regenerate from it in a very Hellsing-esque fashion. I kind of want to make regeneration my 'sonas super power but maybe that would come off as power tripping? I just tend to end up liking characters with that ability, it's visually a lot of fun.
-Another new FS character, my main requirement for her was that, if clothed, she would pass for a rather effeminate boy. Her name is even Tyler so she confuses a lot of dudes when she's dressed. She's going to play into future installments in an odd way, can't say too much yet.
-A completely computer drawn self-portrait. I had just watched FLCL and liked the way a certain scene looked so I aped the composition so that I could leeeeeaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrnnn. It didn't turn out very good so I won't submit it in full but it's not so awful that I need to hide it away.
-Another drawing of the meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, the jacket and even garbagey sword are both things I actually own so I'm not trying to look like super tough McCoolguy here, if I had the ferrety face I could legitimately look like that.
-Some headshots of new FS characters Simon and Leon.
-Some Hulks I did as a study for a big commission I'm doing for a friend at work. I'll say it till I die: I can draw people just fine, I just usually don't care to.
