Coyotes snooping about the desert on an October evening. I was inspired by the coyote calls I heard on a hike around the hills last week.

Took about 4 hours from first washing to final photograph. I hadn't carved a pumpkin in about 9 years, so I was really eager to try it again, and wanted to do stars and shading.

I originally created a collage in Photoshop and then sketched it on the surface. The nearer coyote had pupils but they came out - it looks better anyway.
