My Fluttershy shirt (sweater, more like) that I've been working on for the past month, to go with my Fluttershy hat: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5945959/ ...Made with "minky" velvet, everything hemmed and edged with ribbons and with quilt padding added under the butterflies and wings. I had to sew extra feather markings on the top of the wings to keep the padding underneath from bunching up, and the bodies of the butterflies were actually pale green minky that I dyed light blue (since I didn't have any blue).
Also, the shirt isn't near as wrinkly-looking as this when worn. :P And yes, I know the butterflies are backwards; I noticed my mistake after I had already sewn them on, and couldn't redo it...oh well. *sigh* The cutie mark was referenced from here: http://blackgryph0n.deviantart.com/.....Mark-204982442 and the wings were referenced from several other vectors...I figure, for the first ever shirt I've made totally by myself, without a real pattern to work from (I just cut up an old shirt of mine to use as a pattern), it isn't half bad. :/
