This is a traditional ceremonial dagger used by the Bento- a tribal race that inhabits the western continents of Aesira. The blade is made of Dusk- a fairly common ore in the west that is found as a light blue, brittle gem called Dawn (examples of which can be seen in the Deer-bone hilt). This is easily carved into any desired shape (in this case, a blade), and then smelted under high temperatures to produce Dusk, which is as hard and sharp as diamond.

Just an example of some of the items from my world, which yes, has now been named- Aesira. It's also my attempt at trying to improve on my skills some more... for example, I think I did well on the blade. Advice WANTED, peoples!
