Man I can't believe nobody's noticed how great your work is!
I've looked into how one might paint fur textures in photoshop, but the amount of work that would require for just one character has put me off doing it, it takes long enough just to color and shade normally! I can't imagine how you could do it quickly and skillfully enough to pull it off for a picture like this with 30 different characters each with their own unique style.
How do you do it! If I'm not mistaken you use traditional media, so you couldn't even use photoshop tricks like brushes with shading built in that are sensitive to direction and pressure. And if you make a mistake you can't go back! How under those conditions could you do so many different characters and have the colors all look nice and have no apparent mistakes!
It boggles the mind.

Now this just completely kicks ass, Blotch. Damn...
You do some of the absolute best yiff paintings I have ever seen, and they are certainly enjoyable. But this...
Damn, Splotch, my man, you have outdone yourself.
Such a wonderful mood is projected by this painting; to look upon it is to smile. It stands for everything -- in my mind -- that places like FurAffinity stand for: community, belonging, and the wonderful happiness that these elements so wonderfully generate.
This is an absolutely wonderful piece, Blotch. I can only look upon it with humility and no small measure of awe. It is... awesome.
Masterfully done. This is inarguably a complete masterpiece.

I think it's supposed to be the "metal sign", but most people (like the tiger in this pic [unless he can't get his thumbs in]) tend to do the international sign language sign for "I Love You" instead.
Thumbs In = Metal
Thumbs Out = Love ^.^
He's just sharin' the luv from the back. He just barely made it for the picture, otherwise I'm sure he'd be front and center with the wolf. ;)

Hahahahaha, I love the feral duck walking by. X3
I seriously wanted to go, but I just went to AC the begining of July, so my funds are bit low right now. Not to mention my parents don't want me taking road trips to cons alone, and my non furry friends are all road tripped out. And I don't know any furs in my area.

o.O this has to be the most complicated furry image I have ever seen. You never cease to impress me, and the rest of the entire furry community. I can't believe you can push out such fantastic works of art, and at the speed that you work. I mean you have the comic, you just did AC and now this...all at the same time! This is so going on my desktop as a wallpaper, it is simply beautiful. I am only sad that as a non artist I will never be able to fully fathom the amazing amount of work that must have gone into making this. You rock Blotch, I have so much respect for your work, and it must have doubled or tippled just now! =^.^=
How could you NOT love this picture? I am just in awe of how wmuch detail went into it and how it seems (or maybe I am undereducatted) that anyone could attach a "hey, thats me!" to them.
The colorwork is stunning and I really don't know how you could have had the patience to work on the coloring for this for eight days straight. X_x
I am gonna have to stop talking now and just stare at the artwork!

if i could go. how to make any money is the major drawback. i would, sans paint costs, remake this as a full wall mural on a wall of your choosing, ...any size ie.
i guess i recreate better than come up with original content, bravo. but alas i cannot come. unless of course you can get my company the account for security and they could fly me to NY. :)
what's one more wish?
excellent is not enough word for this work, i (amazing as it may seem) cannot derive sufficient words *thunderous applause*

That is insane. I love all the detail! You're amazing. I love all of the unique species. We need more gorillas, crocs and buffalos in the fandom! Hehe.
And my animal knowledge isn't as vast as I'd like to think so I gotta ask- what kind of lizard is that next to the bunny and the husky? That thing is SO CUTE.

Beautiful, amazing work. Your talents with paint are excellent, and your anatomy and expressions just plain rock. I love your stuff even more with every piece you submit.. but one thing catches my eye here...
Where's th' wimmins at! Don't see a girlfur at all in that menagerie!

All the little details in this are so great!
I'm sorry if someone's listed all these already, but did everyone else notice that all the main characters from Dog's Days of Summer are in there?
I love a little con badges, especially the tiny one that the dragon is wearing. :D
And of course, Kenket is up there in the corner. :)
Wonderful wonderful picture. No better way to commemorate the event then with Blotch at the forefront. :D

There are few things I could say to this drawing that I'm sure haven't already been said, but I'll take a crack at it anyhow.
The artistic dedication and perseverenc you've shown in completing a piece this ambitious speaks volumes to your love of the arts. I am humbled by the scale of this piece, and you deserve any and all credit and kudos you get for this.

I find it so amazing that you have such good grasp of all these animals' proportions, like diff ear, nose and head sizes.
And I love how you color fur.. don't think you can color this good digitally.. I have greater respect for traditional artists.
And another thing that really gets to me about this it the expressions.. you even have a great grasp of that!
All the little things makes it feel so alive!
I'm in awe before your skills. I would love to be able to draw/color anything I want to, like you can.
Just love this, it has a soul.

That's really amazing! So funny, so detailed, and so holy crap!
I have three favorites out of all of these that I really liked:
- The fox hugging the rooster
- The laughing wolf? (seen between the bear and the rhino)
- Fender. Sitting so proud upon the shoulders of the zebra and the ape.

This picture drops my jaw so low because of the fact that this is done traditionally. Well done with the complexity of characters and the composition. Very challenging to add a variety of species on the same image. Thus the notion to gather a variety of species defines the meaning of "FA United." Excellent work!
Simply without words, you'r a god of the furries ilustrations and comics, this pic is one of more beautiful that i had seen, thanks for gladden us our view with your works arts, id like to have your inmagination and your creativity.
One those furries that appear in this ilustration is Jack the kangaroo about Dog Days of Summer, right??, and the otter could be Bayshore??
