She looks like she spent a long morning working the customer service desk at Wal-mart. Well done, especially all the details with the braid and jewelry.

close to it, I work at Starbucks, I wear the jewelry, and most days try to have the braid in my hair. =)

Only those who have worked service jobs know how truly physically and emotionally draining it is to be "pleasant" to people for extended periods of time. (I've worked Hallmark/Bookstore... pre- and post- holiday rush).

As for Starbucks, would it just be easier if the customers admitted they wanted a coffee flavored milkshake or do they need to fool themselves with those excessively complicated orders that they ordering something "special"?

Make them suffer for their caffeine. It is the undeniable right of the barista! (Which of course would be much easier if you could carry a whip.)

Well, making them pay around 4 bucks a pop is suffering, plus I can easily guilt them into tips, and if they make me make their drink again (happens way more often than you think) you're damn right I'll make it extra hot. (around 240 degrees f)

Wow.. remind me never to tick you off. (Though I am guilty for asking for a hot cocoa with a shot of espresso.)

I've been playing SRII all day, interspersed with Okami. Oh, how I love my PS2.

But srsly, LOK is AWESOME.
