The inside of the ears are super soft pink, and the hat comes with the tail end of its ribbons safety-pinned in place, but you'll want to secure them more permanently once you have fitted the hat to your head. Since the ribbons don't stretch but the hat does, this method lets the hat stretch to fit any size head, and the ribbons will adjust to match. :)
