My Little Pony belongs to Hasbro.
The basic animation used here was made by monkeyjay and you can find the base for it, and an extensive tutorial here. (as a note, he does not do requests, please don't harass him.)
The time and effort spent to transform a generic grey mane-less pony into this lovely character is mine. :) Please respect this by not directly copying the customization I've done.
Desktop Ponies belong to the Desktop Ponies team.
And the character itself belongs to the person who asked for this (unless it doesn't :D)

I'm not entirely sure how ethical it is to "sell" commissions for re-colouring someone else's animation. It's a great idea, but do you own the original animation, or have permission from its creator to use it like this? Do you know if you're changing it enough to not qualify as a copyright infringement? You are offering to sell someone else's re-coloured artwork.
The original image is freely distributed for people to make and modify their own pony from. Googling 'desktop ponies' I"m sure will provide a link to the main desktop ponies page, which has the link to the file and tutorial I used to get started. I provide the link, directly, to anyone who asks, and offer all kinds of help to anyone who's trying to get started with their own ponies.
I've since modified the base file I work from considerably, to make everything work better for me. I spend 5-6 hours turning a solid grey featureless pony into trotter fr other people to use.
Honestly, I"m not selling the animation, I'm not claiming "I animated this"... I'm selling my time to customize a freely available base for people who are not as adept artistically, who don't know how to do pixel art, who don't want to spent many hours learning how to animate with photoshop and learning the sorts of tips and tricks that only come from having made ... *checks* .. wow. 50 trotters. Or people who simply don't have the time I do to make their own trotting ponies.
I'm selling my time. I sell most trotters for 12$. If I hurry and zoom along and get a trotter done in 4 hours (as opposed to the 5 or 6 most take), I"m getting paid 3 bucks an hour. . ,,, and most trotters take more then that.
Eragale here is a very simple pony. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6666705/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6700022/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6549128/ are examples of ponies that took me well longer than 4 hours to 'get right'.. or http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6584830/ ...
Please don't misunderstand -- if the person who made the trotting pony animation asked me to stop, I would. However, if he did not wish for people to customize it, I'm sure the psd file wouldnot be freely distributed, and a tutorial, made by the man himself would not be included as well. All I'm selling is my time... I don't see it as much different then, for example, buying a my little pony figure from the store and offering to rehair/repaint it to look like someone's character... except this results in 99% less paint fumes being inhaled :)
