(this is really rubbishly coloured I literally did this in half an hour so i apologise for the shoddyness of it, it was more done to get across a concept rather than a polished piece of art. I will probably move it to scraps or delete it altogether later)
It comes with a teeny tiny story.

*Gem gazed whistfully out of the living room window, She could see cubs hopping and skipping from door to door, dress up in various trick or treating outfits going door to door collecting candy. 10 minutes ago daddy had left with zeezee, ren and all her other brothers and sisters to take them out but Gem had been left behind. She was in the midst of teething not to mention she had the onset of a cold and her parents had decided it best for her to stay home.
"Gemmy, get down from off the sofa" Her mama called gently, she had stayed behind to look after the baby squirrel, but Gem deliberately ignored her mama, her eyes wet from the temper tantrum she had thrown whilst she had been put into a fresh nappy and her footed sleeper ready for bed. She pressed her forehead up against the cool glass, feeling relief on her cheeks from her teething. She was grumpy and sad and her poor mother knew it. She watched a ghost drift past the window as her eyelids grew heavy, it was already fast approahing her bedtime but she was determined that she was never going to sleep again, she would stay up till the next haloween where she would get to go trick or treating with all her family and do whatever trick or treating did. She had never been before but the excitement from some of her siblings had rubbed off on her enough to know it was a very good thing to do. She watched for a few moments more, her eyelids drooping further.
"Gemmy bedtime" her mama called softly. but Gem didnt stir, not because she was ignoring her mama this time, but because she was already asleep.

Sometimes little kids, no matter what they want to do, arent quite ready to do what everyone else are doing. This was just a bit of vent art, because whilst haloween is my favourite time of year, we didnt really do anything today. :) so in my head im just pretending that im too small to really understand the concept and that next year i'll be just big enough to join in.

Poor Gem! :( *HUG* I did not go out either -- maybe I'm too little too! But we did have lots of kids come to our door to get candy! We counted over 160 this year. Last year it was over 190!
Most impressive costumes:
* A really good werewolf, with full-head mask with hair, and hairy wolf paws, and a plaid flannel shirt and jeans
* Inu-Yasha! The kid was super happy that somebody finally recognized what his costume was
* Medusa! Green face make-up, plastic snakes in her hair, gotta love the classics
* Box. "Are you a robot?" I asked. "No, I'm a box." Very Zen.

There were a few babies, by the way. One was a doggie -- little sleeper/costume with ears and tail, adorable! Another was a hamburger -- cloth bun with little cutout sesame seeds sewn on, little green lettucy layer, little red tomatoey layer, baby, rest of the bun. Some of the babies were in strollers, and others were carried. So babies can get taken out Trick-or-Treating. Don't worry Gem!
Ah I didn't really get to do anything today either. It was just another day. Really Horror movies aren't much of a change for me. I've got lots of them. We only had a few trick or treaters. Two best or at least recognizable costumes I saw was one kid dressed as Freddy Krueger. The Classic Freddy no less not this no talent new one. And one kid dressed up as Michelle Myers from Halloween. Again the original one not the new one. So that was cool. ^^ Well here's hoping the coming Holidays will be much nicer and more pleasant. ^^
