Ouch... you're right the couple of pidgeons that got trapped at my home, couldn't get out and leave some "gifts" in my bedroom ^^;

I suspect this individual is a she.

And yes it was alive, just tired after trying unsuccesfully to get out of the house, I take her, put her on the railings in the balcony, and after some minutes she flew away

Yup! These species "paloma torcaza" i guess it's "mourning dove" in english is kinda small

I've seen bigger pidgeons in towns away of my home town, but still smaller than an "average pidgeon"

These kind of pidgeons at my hometown are the smallest I've seen ^^;

oh we have mourning doves here! They are a lot bigger here though. About twice the size. ^^

We have a mated pair that lives in the tree in front of our place. They had 3 babies this summer and they were so adorable. ^^
