Depends on their temperments, as that could vary immensely. My initial guess is that the angel is violently dogmatic and the demon enjoys inflicting evil upon those who deserve it.

That's like the "The following statement is false/the preceding statement is true" thing. If one has a demon as a good conscience, then you think that good is bad. But if good is bad, then your bad side (the angel) is good. And if bad is good, good is bad. So you can never really tell, can you?

Quite the interesting quandary exposed.

Angels and Demons to me just symbolize antipodal philosophies, and when one changes, the other changes to match. You could symbolize this as two different marks on a wheel on opposite sides.

If a demon adopts a more caring and forgiving philosophy, then the angel would adopt a more ruthless philosophy.

And then of course, there are all things in between, which could be seen as the spokes of a wheel, coming into a singularity at the center.
