I can only imagine that the person that has been banned has some history w/members of the House, especially with the main character whose helping out the Tiger...Let's just hope she doesn't let something come about again if the Don does come to the Auction of the Tiger's first night
I can only imagine what this Don must have done to be banned from a place that relies on repeat customers.
But I imagine it has something to do with Amon's injury... Poor guy.
I can't wait to see how this is resolved.

How hard would it be for Dhaval to escape? He’s on an island visited by dozens of vessels a month, it doesn’t look like the “employees” are closely watched, and I’m sure there are plenty of captains who’d happily sign on a strong young man (tiger, whatever). Some would probably do it just to tweak the noses of the obnoxious hyena that run the place.
Some captains might care about being blacklisted if caught, but others wouldn’t. How often would a ship make visit that particular island anyways? Even if a captain wouldn’t take him, a crewman might be bribed to sneak him aboard. Once the ship sets sail, the captain wouldn’t bother to return him, and would most likely just take him on as a crew, or make him work for free.
Yeah, he’s screwed if he gets caught, but then again, he’s screwed if he stays. He might as well take the chance.

Rukis, if this is he same customer that hurt Amon, and he comes in and hurts Dhaval I won't be able to forgive you :( I will read and love the comic but darn you for making me feel so strongly about these guys D: I want a happy ending, even though I know their probably won't be one. You are the only artist who has made me feel such an adoration for your characters. But at the same time it makes it so painful to see what a horrible situation they are in!
It seems pretty clear that Don Coros is the one who injured Amon...
...but I'm more interested in whether he's the "very difficult task."

Dun dun duuuuuuun
I'm guessing mom's in it to watch her back. If you know anything about Hyena hierarchy, the mother's always in it for what's best for HER - then what's best for her pups, most importantly the most dominant pup. I'm getting the feeling that our lady of the house isn't the dominant pup (reference to the daughter with the better land), and someone (Don) got pissy about being banned from such a low-life place. Since he has coin, I'd be willing to bet he threatened never to spend a dime towards the mother's houses and causes.
Though here's me hoping that a bidding war between the Don and our dear Captain happens, but more than likely he's gonna pull the swashbuckling Navy man thing and go bash some heads in (he might be small, but he managed to survive after pissing off the Drakes, and being pursued by their armada as well).
Then again, that could be me just looking a little too deep into it. xD
Though here's me hoping that a bidding war between the Don and our dear Captain happens, but more than likely he's gonna pull the swashbuckling Navy man thing and go bash some heads in (he might be small, but he managed to survive after pissing off the Drakes, and being pursued by their armada as well).
Then again, that could be me just looking a little too deep into it. xD
Alternative hypothesis -- everyone seems to think that this freshly-invited bidder is the one that broke Amon of his ability to do certain things well. I have an alternative possibility -- perhaps the don simply refused to pay certain debts or dues.
It's implied that the reason for being barred from the proceedings of the sale is something that happened some time ago, rather than recently: this is a distinct possibility, in which case minor debts would likely be ignored for purposes of the sale; alternatively, perhaps it's a trap to capture the debtor and inflict an appropriate punishment (such as slavery) for inability to pay.
Politics can be a mess. Think hard and look beyond the obvious, there are many ways to skin the proverbial cat and earn coin. I sympathise with both Amon and Dhaval, and honestly believe that Rukis has a clean ending for each of them, but getting there is going to be nine-tenths of the pain. Let's all calm down, watch, and see what happens.

One thing that I don't understand...
If this is the guy that hurt Amon, then clearly her mother knows that 'this' guy crippled one of their former dancers. Which in turn, can return back onto said-tiger-guy. That being said, there is no way they'd be able to re-coop the cost on the tiger if he just ends up breaking him. So....Yea...Regardless if he has a lot of money, they will benefit a lot better over a larger period of time if they were simply to cause damage to him at the very beginning (for a lump sum)

I knew someone in estonia whose life wasn't that far off from Amons, complete with the forced work as a prostitute (for a gang there), injuries sustained to his rear end due to a particularly brutish russian mafia customer, drug habit, and love for another customer who eventually got him out of that mess. Unfortunately the similarities end there since I dont see Amon dying of AIDS.

Manjusha: Okay, highest bid is 300 crowns. Going once, twice...
Don Coros: I bid >9000 crowns.
Dhaval: (staring off into space completely innocent and oblivious to all things)
Manjusha: Err... >9000 crowns. Going once, twice... sold, to the douche... err, to the don Coros.
Amon: (walking in) It's been a long time, Don Coros...
Don Coros: (smirking)Heh, if you're looking for round 2, you'll have to wait your turn, pup. I intend to utilize the 'service' I have purchased to the fullest extent. I wager it'll put even our night together to shame.
Amon: Well, it sounds like you've got this all planned out. Unfortunately, (pulls out a repeating pistol-grip crossbow, aiming it at Coros's face) I think you've done enough damage to others, don't you think? I'll see you in hell, hon... *BOOM HEADSHAWT~!*
Dhaval: (drool starts to slide out one side of his mouth)
Manjusha: Sweetness... I mean, No! Bad Amon! (swats Amon's nose). Don't do it again! (whispering)
But seriously, good job.
Luther: (walks up) That was pretty awesome. I'm like 300x more attracted to you now. Let's go to a back room for a... um.. 'massage'.
Amon: (to Luther) I suppose normally I'd feel bad or something about murdering a dude, but this guy SERIOUSLY had it coming... Ah well. Nothin' like good ol' sex to wash the blood off your hands.
Luther: Dang, dude. That was pretty morbid O.o
Amon: It's all right, hon. Clearly this writer is a noob and has no idea what he's doing, therefore invalidating any sort of believability to his little "prediction" story.
Luther: Huh... Just take your clothes off, will you?
Amon: Sure thing, hon.

I sense... 250 pounds of "this cannot possibly end well". My coin-flip is on the poor innocent kid taking Amon's advice to heart and decking a paying customer with all the force of a field laborer's muscle, causing all sorts of bad. Which will be a good thing, really, because ya gotta be a really foul sort to get tossed out of a brothel so hard you bounce.
