The zipper has been sewn on and the padding doesn't look nearly as weird as it did when I tried the bodysuit on without it. HUGE relief there! It's still going to need some tailoring around the hips and knees at the end, but right now I'm going to set it aside and work on the head, feet, and bobtail. Oh! And her "bib" (the green and gold bib with the bell that maneki neko's wear). The bottoms of the legs I'm going to sew snaps to so I can snap them to the feet to keep them tight. I'm really hoping her head fills out once it's furred too, because right now her head looks too small with the bodysuit. o_o
All in all though, I'm incredibly happy, considering I've never really sewn before! (At least not anything serious, like clothing.)

Thanks! I'm using Matrices' method for the legs with pillow padding. The legs look a little "broken" right now, and I have this weird pocket-ing happening in the hips. I had this problem last time I used this method to try and make faun legs, too. I'm hoping once I'm done I can get some red-lines on them to make them look a little more natural.
OH GOD DON'T KILL ME MEAN CAT THING
It's cool, I know you, you're not some gigantic sweaty 50 year old man that's going to drag me into a dark hotel room and duct tape me into his suitcase or something.
I'd have to think a little harder about the hugs if that were the case.

Just take your time and do your research. As tempting as it is to rush because you're excited to see it done or move on to the next step, don't let yourself rush it! You WILL be disappointed if you rush through a step. With good research and patience, you'll do just fine!
Oh I'm in no rush at all. I'm waiting to have the money to go hang with
artslave to make my monster.
