I took up quilting with my aunt several weeks ago and after all the hard work we've been through, along with several lessons throughout the process, I believe it all paid off. We also hired a woman to do some stitching for the front and back pieces as well as the batting in between. You can't really see the stitching in the picture due to the crappy quality of my iPod camera, however it is a very interesting leaf pattern, I just wish you could all see this up close.

Right now, during my dad's last few weeks/months on Earth, I decided to give this to him as a gift to keep him warm. Soon after he's past I think I'll just hang it on one of my walls. But all that aside, I'm really excited for the next project I plan on doing with my aunt, and who knows, maybe you'll get to see more of it.
