we went downtown to sketch... and in the afternoon I found this silver and orange lichen on a concrete railing. Decided to draw it obsessively detailed (ok, everything is relative). And... you know, thought about my attention span. Attention has become a tangible mechanism in my head from the past 2 years. It can be like noticing everything, and nothing. It's definitely different while I draw. But I don't know how it is for other people, I don't have your brains (and never will).

I think I managed to make myself spend 20-25 minutes on it. A4, mitsubishi uni-ball pens.

I think lichen is very beautiful.
