The collector's chassis is based off of the handling machine and functions in much the same way. It's primary purpose is to capture people and other animals for fluid extraction. It has multiple arms and appendages for doing this, but is closely aided by drones if need be. There are a number of extra eyes located across the machine's carapace that allow the pilot to spot any would be escapees.

The design is a bit of a nod toward Jeff Wayne's rendition.
