Phew! This pic really took on a life of its own. The pose is from a referenced off a stock anatomy photo courtesy of the magazine "ImagineFX" (#57, June 2010). The pose in question was for "Kneeling with Sword" - to which I substituted Super Collie's crook and added a 'blowing in the wind' appearance. Then I added a photo of the Mackenzie Pass, running it through an oilify filter and adding a darkened sky effect.
But the best part was using some of the new brushes I got for GIMP - including some "Grass" brushes which I used to create the foreground. Man, I'm just blown away with the depth they added to the overall picture!
