Tsukiko, "moon child", the kitsune girl.



Tsukiko Fujihara (originally Hayashi before she was adopted by Maru's parents. She chose to take their name to honor them and their generosity for taking her in after her parents passed.)

Personality: Serious but fun, kind, warmhearted
Species: Kitsune
Bio: Tsukiko was born in a small Japanese village not far from where Maru was born. Their families were old friends, so even before Maru's parents adopted her, Tsukiko was already like a sister to him. Despite losing her family at a young age, she never lost her positive attitude or outlook.

She excelled in school alongside her adopted brother and their mutual friend Amaranth, and realized her dream of opening a bar/restaurant, named Tsukiko's, with the theme of her homeland soon after. She also enjoys practicing Kendo with Maru as a way of honoring their shared heritage.

She is a natural match-maker and enjoys seeing her friends find love. It was partly her doing that helped Hazel open up enough to accept Amaranth's affection and mostly her interference that got Maru to realize that Mika's "computer problems" and awkward stammering and blushing were because she liked him. It took her a bit longer to find her own love, but she did find it in Crevan, even if she's still putting off moving in with him.
