It's nice to feel productive. I need to do sketching more often, especially to get silly ideas out of my head. On the left, my idea of 'if BlackWing had a skull/terror mode.' I think I'll get rid of the silly gangly legs. He'll probably have horse legs instead. I also tried to emulate a birds breast for the body. It might work... He's all 'RAAWR I'm flying sideways, weeeee'
On the left is a character I'm forming called Ilex. She's a skulled pegasus that collects natural objects. I think I'll make this into a Victorian themed painting, but I don't know if I'll show her wings in this or not... Also, broccoli bouquet.

DUDE.
Blackwing skull... very spooky. He knows how to turn on the creepy factor naturally, don't he?
I like the idea of the Victorian painting with the horse skull. Even if one didn't know the context of the character, we could also assume it was a criticism of the Victorian era.
