PLASES READ BEFORE YOU COMMENT
This came to me while I was drawing.
No one talked in this the mood and characters pretty much told the story through actions.
Much like "Mortimer's Rant" I just couldn't separate this two page comic so I merged them.
Here's a desricrption in case you don't know what's going on.
Panel 1: Mickey was walking along minding him own business.
Panel 2: He hears a commotion.
Panel 3: He looks over to see some people pounding at something or someone. he wonder who it was.
Panel 4 & 5: It was Mortimer getting beat up badly by theses unknown people and Mort didn't do anything to them.
Panel 6: Mickey is shock watching this kind of violence before him.
Panel 7: Mortimer falls to his knees riddled with pain as the unknown laugh wickedly at him.
Panel 8: Mickey had seen enough and runs over to them.
Panel 9: Just as the beings are about to continue beating Mortimer, Mickey stops them.
Panel 10: He give the unknowns a glare tell them to leave Mortimer alone.
Panel 11: The evil beings decides to leave.
Panel 12: Mickey remains in his defense pose ready to fight if the unknowns chance there minds and want to fight.
Page Two
Panel 1: Once he was sure they weren't coming back, Mickey looks over to Mortimer who was still on his knees shaking.
Panel 2: Mortimer tries to get up when he see a hand beside him.
Panel 3: He looks up to see Mickey offering to help him.
Panel 4: Mortimer rejected the offer feeling humiliated and ashamed that Mickey has to save him and see him like this.
Panel 5: Seeing the distress look on his face Mickey put his hand on Mortimer's shoulder causing Mort to look at him again.
Panel 6: Mickey just gives him a comforting smile show the it alright.
Panel 7: Overwhelmed by gratitude Mortimer hugs Mickey.
Panel 8: He wanted to say "Thank you" but couldn't he couldn't find the words to say it.
Panel 9: Mickey didn't need to hear it, he understood how thankful Mort was.
Panel 10: Mickey knew he needs to get him to a safer place for medical attention, but for now Mickey just sits there and comforts Mortimer until he clams down.
The end
And that is that, this was a great one to work on and again this shows just how much things you can do with Mortimer which is why I do so much drawing on him the most out of all the Mickey Mouse characters.
The beings I left as unknown, they could be people who hate Mortimer, evil creatures, heck maybe even Disney executives I mean they negate their characters I wouldn't be surprise if they were abusive to thier a character.
I should also mention that I only add two scene of Mortimer getting beat up the other scenes of this were too much.
And if you're wondering why Mickey would even want to help Mort, it's because Mickey is a good guy. He's not going to tolerate that kind of violence in his town, this shows Mickey good nature side and heroics he's not afraid to stand up for someone even if it's his rival.
