Alien Soldier redesigns-Xi-Tiger and Z-Leo
Few more pics I did while I was away, again, tossed some quick colors on these.
Decided to redesign two major bosses from old Sega Genesis game, Alien Soldier. Also got some ideas for a sorta remake of the story, where Epsilon is now just a member of Scarlet instead of leading it, while Z-Leo is the de facto leader and main antagonist.
Xi-Tiger-Epsilon's brother-in-arms and best friend, Xi is a massive powerhouse composed of pure muscles, almost diamond-hard armor and razor sharp claws. He made himself almost a legend among the humans, properly nicknamed Killer Klaws by them-while Epsilon is more calculating and careful with his approach in battle, Xi rushes into any situation with fangs and claws ready to start ripping his enemies appart. Despite being close friends with Epsilon, he does not understand his comrade's sympathy towards humans-Epsilon thinks that at least their children should be spared from the Scarlet's wrath, while Xi thinks all humans should be wiped out.
Z-Leo-even taller and far more powerful than Xi-Tiger, Z-Leo is the first Scarlet to ever be created, also the one who started the uprising against the humans, starting the war under claims that humans have been opressing Scarlets (bio-engineered mutants created for various purposes) and used them as slaves. While posessing incredible strength and unmatched firepower, he's incredibly calm and hard to get angry, managing to keep a cool head in even toughest situations. He's also a briliant strategist, and thanks to this, Scarlets have been slowly overpowering humans in the war, with the victory nearly in sight. He does share Epsilon's opinion of sparing the human children, however, he seems to have far more sinister plans for them than Epsilon could ever imagine...

A remake would be the greatest thing to ever happen ;D; I mean, Treasure did make a sequel/remake of Gunstar Heroes on GBA, what would stop them to make a spiffy remake of Alien Soldier on 3DS or even Wii?
And yes, game is incredibly hard but that is it's charm (it wouldnt actually be so hard if switching weapons didnt make you unable to move, thus vulnerable for that fraction of time)
