I've just got to stitch a little pillow for the inside of the shrine, and add curtains, and it'll be all done :D
The cowtato's tail shattered when he was fired (which I figured would happen), but I was able to glue it back together. He's now been painted gold too. The cheese wasn't quite shiny enough for my liking, so it's waiting to be fired again before being a wall hanging/prop inside the shrine.
I'm excited because my prof (the guy in the orange shirt back there, coincidentally) has taken a liking to this piece and asked to display it in the ceramics showcase for a few weeks. Cowtatos are infectiousssssss :>
Feels good to have my works be thought of as "hallway worthy" again. I've gone through a rough patch of hating my art as of late >.<
The Shrine is resting on the stretched goat skin of my drum, also constructed in this ceramics class. I'll get to photos of that sometime too....
