Wow. Kick-ass colors and a neat-o wolfy thing (even if it's a morphed Link... Damn that elf, kicking cool scalies asses). The fading buildings on the background are looking cool too.

I don't think the sheath would be visible from that angle though. The ribcage hides it. I think my perspective just wasn't too successful here which makes the whole thing just look.. off. Oh well. I'd have done a Linkpenis had I somwhere to post it. XP

My brain misfires when I look at the coloring. It's really cool and super-detailed, but then I think about all the stuff I've read about light reflection and stuff and think that the lighter/darker colors should have a greenish hues, but then I remember that I don't know how reflective animal fur is. c.c;

Yeah, this was finished almost a year ago, and I wasn't that knowledgeable about reflected surroundings. Not that I am now, but I'd have done a lot of things differently, including anatomy.

And quite a few people caught on! I'm actually surprized, only like 4 or so did on DA out of 250+ commenters. o.o;

Random question. Have you ever developed any storylines of your own? Seems like you'd be able to make a lot of interesting, dramatic concept piccus that could blossom into a universe. o.o

I have, but I'm not terribly good at writing (English being my 3rd language), and I'm too busy for comics/rather bad at them. So nothing would actually get very far unfortunately. I don't want to do something just for the sake of doing it and have it be mediocre at best.

Animal fur tends to range a bit. Some types and colors are more reflective than others.


For example, I own a shorthaired black cat, and a jack-russel terrier (mostly white, fairly water-resistant fur). The cat's fur is much more reflective than the dog's due to the difference in color and quality.


So, you pretty much need to know a little bit about the species/breed involved before you can tell really accurately. :p

PS: The one thing I think that ruins it is the strange dark spots on the pic. 0.o How are they relevant?

I used Photoshop for this, I can't use OC worth crap (I only tried maybe 3 times, but I get discouraged by constanly making stuff look terrible).

And if you see the trailer for the game, you'll get it. The scenery looks a lot like this in some parts, complete with strange dark blobs.

It's too bad for Nintendo that the release was pushed back (Again). This version is what everyone was looking forward to ever since the Game Cube was announced. Wind Waker was a great game but the fans are ready for a more serious themed Legend.

I'd call myself the master of Zelda games,but Zelda art thats a todaly diffrent story and you got that down! Congats! Love the color by the way.
