One of the most touching scenes from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And I had to give my own style a try with this scene.
If you have not read the 7th book, I would recommend it to anyone. Many people bash it, since it wasn't exactly what they had been expecting but the series came to an end, where I was happy with it.
I will not explain any more than that for those who haven't read the book yet. I will ask this much though:
Do NOT post any spoilers in your comments!
You can say you liked the scene, or some vague things about it, but I don't want the book ruined for anyone ^^;

this is a good submission! ^^ The book was great and shocking as well. Me and a few of my friends loved the ending, but wish they could have gave a bit more info on what happened later. *says no more towards the 7th book*
Anyways, I think since it was dark, you could try another approach, just to see how it turns out, like make the grass a dark green, since it was dark. Cause from the way it looks, you seem like you're in a world of twilight. Just a suggestion. hehe. Great job! +Fav!

I think the only words I can use to describe a picture like this are "hauntingly beautiful."
I had to put "hauntingly" in there as..it looks ghost like, but that is what makes the picture here. That spirit like quality of a phantom like doe.
Personally speaking, I happen to like the mist effect of this picture that you have in. Mainly because it happens to set the mood of the picture in that subtle manner. Just by there being fog about one can guess that...maybe there's a body of water nearby that the doe would be going to. [As the background is all black and without light.] I thought that was pretty neat myself.
Another thing is how you colored in the eyes. Much like in Bambi, a deer's eyes have to have a shimmer within them that should look like if raised could practically blind a person into submission yet still seem like they're unblinking with innocence. Here, it's like the entire creature itself is radiating just this chilling yet captivating presence here all at the same time.
Even though the picture was uploaded some time ago, I still want to put it on my favorites gallery so when I look at my own page and see it, I'll be able to remember it and have the same feeling I got when I looked at it here for the first time.
Congratulations on making this amazing picture~

..I'm sorry if my comments are wordy here, but you look like you put a lot of time and effort into making this.
I should at the very least put some of that effort into respondinging as that's just the respectable thing to do. It's..truly a nice picture here. And it'd be wrong to just glance over it and give one word or one line of blind praise or say something that really doesn't say a damn thing about the picture at all.
Well..perhaps it's just me that thinks that way.

Thank you for responding actually.
It's... kind of also why I didn't put you on watch..
I don't..like just immediately seeing something then clicking watch like some raving fan.
Plus I wanted to make sure that I told you why I enjoyed the picture as well.
I mean...you put a lot of detail into this and what you've uploaded. It's.. insulting for people to not take notice.
