Now that Dec is only a month away, many folks at the Scandinavian Cultural Center are looking forward to the pre-orders, and the art I'm producing for the big Dec event.
The biggest honor is having the head of the Danish Consolidate here in Vancouver [whom is also my Danish teacher] show particular interest in my cultural art. Considering she has teenage/young adult children, she is looking forward to picking up some of my apparel and art... and obviously showcasing them to her contacts.
Things are moving rapidly, and if all falls into place, there is a good chance of me moving to Denmark for a year! Let's all hope it works out. :)
Funny little note:
My sister
lamasu came up with 2 really awesome names for this fellah.
As a colt: "Coltapiller".
As a full grown horse: Hypcotopede.
I love my sistah.

I've seen the shirt already actually, all your designs are lovely :)
And I totally understand the need to wait to see how these sales will pan out. I respect your need for profit, of course :)
I only ask because my house in the SCA uses Jormungandr as our device (and name!) and if you did ever make shirts or leather cuffs with your lone Jormungandr design, I'd immediately point every one of our members to your shop :) Sorry to be so forward, I hope I didn't put you off or offend you!

Actually, one of the reasons of me doing Slepneir is that our "Sons of Scandinavia" houses' name is Slepneir. They own and cruise the long-ship around our harbor ever 3rd Thursday of the month... so I was advised by the Head of the Scandinavian "Sons of Houses" to do those hoodies. It's a very exclusive club, and they DO like flaunting themselves. XD

Yah, the hoodies are awesome.. I'm hoping the "Song of Norway" and "Sons of Scandinavia" group will be at the event... they will snatch these up! This private club is named "Sleipnir", and they like to flaunt the exclusivity... so they will want to have the hoodies. XD
Provided I can come up with the money for one, I will TOTALLY pursue getting one of those..(Big-time norse mythology dork here) -and thanks! XD My icon started as just a little sketch for sh*ts & giggles, and then somehow evolved into the monstrosity you now see..lol, I got way too much time on my hands.
