Heya!
You've caught me red-handed! I too am a huge mlp: Friendship is magic fan :D
For the last couple of weeks I have been trying to design my pony OC, and she's just in the finishing touches.
This was another idea I had for my char though - a HippoGriffin! since I haven't seen any on the show yet. Her anatomy is based heavily on Gilda the Griffin's, but instead of an eagle she is part-pony, part-pigeon!
I haven't named her yet, but I will soon. These are just the lines, I will move this to scraps soon.

I'm not really a fan of hippogriffs either, but I haven't seen anyone else make one yet, and plus I love pigeons so I thought why not ^___^
That's a very good question about the cutie mark, and for the moment I'm not entirely sure. Once I have made a satisfactory ref sheet of my regular pony, I might do a proper ref for this one. They may or may not have the same cutie mark though.
